Photography — Ann Linden & Colin D. Young

June 1st – July 2nd, 2010
We are exhibiting the landscape photography of Ann Linden.  Ms. Linden comes to the Zoom Gallery originally hailing from Kenya, then NYC, where she maintains an apartment.  Ann has succeeded in capturing glory of nature in her landscapes of the Catskill Region of Halcott, where she is a part-time resident.

July 3rd – August 4th, 2010
We are showing the Fleischmanns Village, Catskill Region and world photos of Colin D. Young.  Opening to be held on July 3th, 1pm – 4pm.  An accomplished theatre photographer and lighting designer, Young’s photographs express his appreciation of community and nature.

Zoom Gallery Film Festival

On Saturday, October 10th, 2009, starting at noon, our newly named Zoom Gallery on Main Street, Fleischmanns, is having a film festival, Strokes Of Genius, that will show rare footage of five iconic American abstract expressionist artists: De Kooning, Rothko, Pollock, Smith, and Gorki.  The film showing will start at noon and last into the early evening hours.

Art etcetera Gallery — Grand Opening At Its New Main Street Location

Now it’s official.  After a few words by Fleischmanns’ Mayor Dave Morell, the ribbon was cut and Art et cetera’s Zoom Gallery was open for business!  On Saturday, May 30thArt et cetera celebrated the Grand Opening of its antiques shop, gallery and antique furniture store annex with help from musicians Charles Lyonhardt and George Quinn who engaged the audience at the outdoor pavilion.  Refreshments from Sam’s Country Store, Portabello Pizza and the Fleischmanns’ Super Market added to the festivities.  After a week of rain and storm clouds, the weather cooperated shedding sunshine over the event.
